  • Christie Childers, Co-Founder

    Christie has felt the life changing benefits from Pilates functional movements in body, mind, and spirit. In her teaching practice, Christie’s goal is to foster a welcoming, inclusive environment where clients feel comfortable to be themselves and move in a way that helps them feel free from the stresses of life.

    Her classes combine fluid choreography with an athletic challenge that will give you a well-rounded full body workout every time. Christie enjoys working with beginners to set a good foundation for their practice, as well as new and expecting mothers.

  • Nina Kuntz, Co-Founder

    Nina’s teaching is inspired by her experience practicing Pilates to support her work as a dancer. She strives to create an environment in which movers of all levels can access sustainable, healthy and useful movement. Her teaching is intense, thorough and compassionate, and she seeks to have every client leave the studio feeling capable and connected.

    Nina’s open-level classes prioritize body and movement knowledge, and her advanced classes focus more on challenges and risk-taking, and her extended classes focus on building each exercise from chill to challenging, exhaust every body part, and workshop collaboratively.

  • Quinton Guthier, Instructor

    Quinton is a professional dancer who has been performing throughout NYC for over a decade. He brings his love of movement to his Pilates teaching practice and works from an anatomically safe, yet challenging approach. He teaches in a contemporary style incorporating all his knowledge from dance, Pilates, and physical therapy.

    Quinton loves to challenge his students to go to places (safely) that they didn't think they could go before. Clients consistently bring up how his thoughtful and careful corrections have pushed their practice beyond. You can currently find him dancing at The Metropolitan Opera.

  • Sam Cheong, Instructor


    Sam is a Pilates instructor whose enthusiasm for the practice goes beyond physical fitness—it's a holistic journey of strengthening both the body and the mind. Sam's teaching emphasizes strengthening the mind-body connection, honing precise technique and building functional strength. Her classes are fun, challenging and suitable for all body types and experience levels.

    Through her informative and nurturing style, she inspires others to embrace Pilates not just as a physical exercise but as a transformative mental and emotional practice.

  • Alex Wolk, Instructor

    Alex felt the transformative power of the mind-body connection that Pilates offers while pregnant with her son two years ago. For the first time in a long time, she was able to feel strong and grounded in her body. Her teaching is now rooted in this experience so that her students can also find a deeper appreciation and love for their bodies & minds. She strives to create a safe space where her students feel empowered to explore the connection of breath-to-movement, find proper alignment, build confidence, strength, flexibility and balance. Her contemporary classes incorporate athletic movement while also remaining accessible, but she always has a few tricks up her sleeves to make it spicier for advanced folks.

  • Rory Furey-King, Instructor

    Rory is an actor and Pilates instructor with roots in 20+ years of dance. After growing up doing pre-professional intensives at the Joffrey Ballet and Paper Mill Playhouse, she moved to London for her BA (HONS) at ArtsEd in Musical Theatre. She made her professional debut in Mamma Mia 2 before touring in London’s Cats, beginning her career. An avid Pilates practitioner since age 14, Rory is certified in Pilates from Spring Movement and is also currently completing the full Apparatus training.

    Years of technical dance training and work make Rory’s classes focused on form and laughter! Rory is also a Housewives enthusiast.

  • Lucy Kerr, Instructor

    Lucy has been teaching Pilates, somatics, performance, and embodiment since 2016. She grew up training as a ballet dancer and later transitioned into contemporary performance and choreography. Pilates helped Lucy recover from hip and shoulder injuries following many years of intensive ballet training, and she continues to use Pilates as a way to foster resilience and manage pain. Lucy focuses on Prenatal and Postnatal Pilates, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and working with special populations. and enjoys incorporating somatics and image-based prompts and breath work from her embodiment practice and training in Noguchi Taiso.

  • Lindsay Holmes, Instructor

    Lindsay is excited to join Core Culture’s team to bring movers a fun and energetic Pilates experience. With a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Lindsay brings a deep appreciation for precision and keen attention to detail. Using her knowledge of anatomy and physiology, she enjoys educating you on your body’s form and technique from the inside out.

    Lindsay strives to be a warm and welcoming face to encourage you to show up to each class for you, no matter where you are at in your practice.
